Shannon T. Moore
Chief Operations Officer / Chief Technical Officer of Brandon/COPsync
Shannon Moore has joined Brandon COPsync as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Technical Officer. Mr. Moore brings vast product knowledge as well as practical experience in designing and deploying electronic surveillance and security systems. As a former law enforcement officer both in the military and as a civilian, Shannon knows firsthand the needs for defense, public safety and loss prevention practices and as a seasoned manager in systems integration he also understands the real world concerns of budgets and professional services.
Shannon has hands on experience in multiple disciplines of physical and electronic security systems and systems integration. This includes electronic surveillance, video management systems, card and credential access control, RFID inventory and asset management, automated license plate recognition, electronic gunshot detection, mobile data computing and mobile evidence capture, database management, systems integration and aerial and ground vehicle based live video and data streaming. His expertise has been finely honed by his experiences in enterprise level projects and technology deployments for law enforcement agencies such as in the LA County Sheriff's Office, the Seattle Police Department, the Richmond Police Department, the City of Lynwood and the South Gate Police Department just to name a few. Additionally, Shannon has designed, deployed and managed solution installations and systems integrations for airports, cities, tribal gaming and international corporations. Shannon's history of developing strong internal teams and strategic partnerships while working with such industry leaders as L-3, Indigo Vision, GTSI, Honeywell, GE, Firetide and Cisco is an immediate benefit to all of the Brandon-COPSync clients.
Shannon is an honorably discharged veteran of the US Army having served in law enforcement and intelligence. His specialized training includes investigations and interrogation as well as fatality reconstruction and foreign languages. Shannon personal interests include mediation (alternate dispute resolution) and acting as a volunteer for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate).
