Lt. Bruce Lint, Esq. (ret.), Executive Vice President & Counsel
Lieutenant Bruce Lint, Esq. Massachusetts State Police (ret.), has joined the firm of Brandon Associates, 29 Commonwealth Ave., Boston as the Senior Vice President and Counsel.

Mr. Lint is Co-Chair of the Firms public policy, technology and homeland security practice. He draws from 28 years of experience with the Massachusetts State Police in various capacities, most recently as Support Operations Commander at the Massachusetts Port Authority’s Logan International Airport. In this position he recently developed a business continuity plan for the State Police contingent at Logan Airport and oversaw the transition from their former barracks to a new state of the art facility complete with an emergency operations center.

Mr. Lint is a recognized leader in the fields of Incident Command Systems (ICS) and nationally with Incident Management Systems (NIMS). Mr. Lint managed all major security events in the Greater Boston Region, while holding the position of Operations Officer with the Department of the Massachusetts State Police. He is also an instructor for advanced levels of ICS. Mr. Lint developed the security operations plans for major events including the Boston Marathon, Boston Esplanade July 4th Celebration, 2004 Democratic National Convention, Presidential Debates in Boston, Head of the Charles Regatta, Caribbean Carnival Festival and others.

Mr. Lint also served as supervisor to the Incident Management Assistance Team (IMAT) for the Massachusetts State Police and a member of the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency Incident Management Team (IMT). IMT provided assistance to local cities and towns during catastrophic and crisis events as well as major search and rescue missions across the state.

While serving in these various positions Mr. Lint developed an expertise in the design and operation of Public Safety Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) including the Unified Command Center (UCC) for the Esplanade July 4th Celebration and the new EOC at the State Police Troop Headquarters at Logan Airport.

Mr. Lint earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the Boston College Carroll School of Business. He went on to earn a Juris Doctor Degree from the New England School of Law. He was admitted to the Massachusetts and Federal Bars in 1989.

Mr. Lint also served as President and Treasurer of the Massachusetts State Police Commissioned Officers Association (MSP-COA) which included all members of the Department from the rank of Lieutenant to the Colonel/Superintendent.
