Jason Stelmat
General Counsel
Jason Stelmat, General Counsel for Brandon Associates LLC, brings 7 years of litigation and prosecutorial experience to the firm. Mr. Stelmat manages all of the firm's legal matters, researches legislation, and assists in the day to day client management.
Mr. Stelmat previously served as an Assistant District Attorney for Middlesex County. He prosecuted an array of narcotics and firearm offenses as well as financial crimes and civil rights violations. Mr. Stelmat brings his experience in drafting civil petitions, legal memoranda and development of litigation strategies. Mr. Stelmat has authored appellate briefs for submission to the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
Mr. Stelmat previously held a leadership role in the Middlesex County Community Based Justice Program. He also held a leadership position in the Middlesex County SDP Unit with a specific focus on the prevention of sex offender recidivism. Throughout his career, Mr. Stelmat has a vast amount of experience with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies with whom he has built strong relationships through the enhancement of public safety initiatives.
Mr. Stelmat is a Dean's List graduate of Seton Hall University (South Orange, NJ) where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy. At Seton Hall University, Mr. Stelmat was a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. Mr. Stelmat went on to earn his Juris Doctor at the New England School of Law (Boston, MA) where he is a Dean's list graduate and recipient of the Robert S. Marcus Scholarship.
