Lt. Dean Bennett (ret.), Senior Vice President
Lt. Bennett counsels the firm’s public safety, homeland security, and defense clients in matters involving procurement opportunities in both state and federal markets.
Lt. Bennett is the former Operations Officer of the Massachusetts Department State Police. Lt. Bennett has extensive experience in law enforcement with focused efforts on department and staff management, incident response and command, high level security protection and contract negotiation. He has developed strong partnerships with all levels of staff, media members and industry professionals in team-orientated environments.
Throughout his career, Lt. Bennett has also been an accomplished participant of the State Police Association of Massachusetts. Serving as both President and Vice President, he was Chief Negotiator for labor representing Troopers and Sergeants, drafted and reviewed legislation, trained Constitutional Officers and Troop Representatives and testified on public safety issues before various committees in Boston and Washington DC. Lt. Bennett also served as past President to the State Police Commissioned Officers Association of Massachusetts and the National Troopers Coalition (NTC).
Lt. Bennett earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College.
